This challenge will begin your adventure into active sensing
During this challenge you will wear a blindfold of your choice during 3 consecutive coaching sessions. As your coach, I will take notes during the session and email it to you afterwards.
Have you truly given yourself the time and space to indulge your 5 senses? What information are you missing each day because you are not taking the time to actively smell, hear, touch, see or taste? What would it look like if you began to give yourself permission to take the extra time for additional sensory input? How much more radiant and vibrant would your life be?
A butterfly’s sense of taste is on their feet, a cricket’s sense of hearing is on its legs and a snake’s sense of smell starts in its jawbone. How do you use your senses? Which sense do you primarily rely on? Which sense would you like to experience more?

Starfish have 5 eyes
Spiders have 8-12 eyes
Horseshoe crabs have 10 eyes
Boxed jellyfish have 24 eyes
Scallops have 100 eyes
Chiton (mollusks) have 1,000 eyes
I have no working eyes and I don’t consider myself as living in the dark… come over to the light side and take my masked challenge!! Who do you think has the better vision…me or the multi-eyed animals?
After your third coaching session with this masked challenge, I would love you to discuss how you experienced various sensations and feelings since your sight was taken away. Talk about being in the dark and then what enlightenment you gained during this exercise. How did it transform your day?
