Centergize Welcome Blog Post

Welcome to my Centergize Blog. You are on the path to awakening your five senses through energy and emotional intelligence play.

This journey started for me four years ago. I was tired of living like a victim and survivor. I attended the iPEC coaching program and became centergized. Becoming centergized is like eating that delicious triple fudge ice cream cake and losing weight at the same time. Why can’t I have it all? Well, I am here to tell you that you can have it all and then pay it forward.
Being centergized is living in the moment and authentically enjoying that moment of presence using all your senses. Think about that favorite food, place, person, animal or experience. Now invoke all your senses and feel that centergized energy flowing through your body. Where in your body do you feel the sensation? What sense are you lacking or not paying attention to in that moment: sight, smell, hearing, tasting or touching? What is stopping you from enjoying that moment to its fullest?
For me, when I am not centergized, I am not actively listening because of being too stressed or overwhelmed. Living with my daughter working at home due to this pandemic, me trying to work on my coaching, while three grandchildren between the ages of 10 and 20 months are asking for a snack, with Sponge Bob on in the background for the sixth episode puts me on noise overload. Taking a few deep breaths and grounding my energy to mother earth, centergizes me back into the moment.

Although I am totally blind, I do not think of myself as living in the dark. My senses are always at play and I rely on my third eye intuition to round out the experience. My world would be so dark if I did not have the softness of my granddaughter’s soft cheek touching my cheek, the smell of my peanut butter cookies in the oven, the sound of the church bells outside the kitchen window, the taste of the mint gum I am chewing, and the gut feeling that my grandson is up to no good because he is being too quiet. All these senses in a matter of minutes.
Awakening your five senses through energy and emotional intelligence play, can help center you and open your mind to a new way to engage with the world. Join me on this journey and we'll discover it together!
